Seedance 2.0, from ByteDance, is purchasable on 12 of the 13 routes we track. One 10s 720p t2v clip, no audio costs $1.216 at CometAPI, the cheapest published rate we can cite. The first-party route, BytePlus ModelArk, is $1.52 for the same clip.

The full-size model of the family, and the only one of the three that outputs 4K. It takes the same multimodal inputs as Mini and adds 1080p and 4K, which is the whole reason to reach for it rather than the volume tier.

The figure above buys one 10s 720p t2v clip, no audio. The board below prices 4 units in all, each column named. Figures come from each seller's own published rates and carry the date we last read them.

Which route should you take

Each row is the table above read for one question, at the unit named beside the price. Rows marked our call are editorial judgement instead, and appear only where we have something specific to say.

Provider board

Each column is one unit, and every price in it buys the same thing. The figures quoted elsewhere on this page are one 10s 720p t2v clip, no audio. That is a baseline for comparing providers, not a quote. What you are actually billed depends on the settings you send, and on some routes on how much you top up at once. Every figure is the provider's own published price; anything we derived rather than read off a price list is marked est.Seedance 2.0 generates audio, but the clip compared here is silent. Where a provider publishes no silent rate, the pricing note under the board says so.

Figures that buy something else

These prices are real, but what they buy is not what their column says, so they are shown and never used to decide which route is cheapest.

Seller terms not in the figures

Things that change what you pay without changing a price on this board. None of them is applied to the figures above: what one unit costs at the posted rate is a number anyone can check, and what it costs after a bonus depends on how much you buy at once.

How these prices were read

How each figure above was read off the provider's own price list, and what that price list does not say.

BytePlus ModelArk
Billed per token, but BytePlus publishes its own worked clip prices, so the 5s column needs no arithmetic. Pricing varies by output resolution and by whether the input includes video; audio is not a billed dimension for 2.0, unlike Seedance 1.5 Pro.
Volcengine
Published in CNY and not converted to the priced clip: a conversion needs a dated exchange rate, and we do not publish one. The figures track the BytePlus USD price list at roughly 6.6 CNY to the dollar.
Replicate
Replicate lists only two billing criteria, the video_in variant and the target resolution, so the generate_audio toggle does not change the rate. Priced here off the non_video_in column, which is the text-to-video route.
fal.ai
fal.ai labels every Seedance 2.0 endpoint "with audio" and publishes no silent rate, so this is the only 1080p figure it offers. The clip priced here is silent, and this is what fal charges for it anyway. The 4K column is empty here because fal prices 4K only through its token formula and does not publish the pixel size it assumes for "4k", so a figure would rest on a frame size we would be choosing ourselves.
EvoLink
The video-reference row posts a lower rate but bills input seconds as well as output, so it is not the row a text prompt is billed on. Priced here off the text-to-video row.
CometAPI
An unofficial reseller pricing under the first-party route; both figures are on this board. Resolution is the only pricing dimension listed: neither audio nor a video input changes it.
APIMart
Credits are quoted with a dollar equivalent on the same row, so no credit rate has to be assumed. The plain resolution rows are the text-to-video route; the "uploaded videos" rows bill link time plus generation time.
kie.ai
The page defaults to the bytedance/seedance-2-fast variant, which tops out at 720p; the rates below are the full bytedance/seedance-2 model.
Seedance 2.0 pricing trapsFirst-party billing is per token, not per clip, and the token count scales with resolution as well as with duration. The two move in opposite directions: the per-token rate BytePlus charges is lower at 4K than at 1080p, while the number of tokens a 4K clip consumes is far higher. Read the rate on its own and 4K looks like the lighter tier; the clip is not, and at BytePlus today the same ten seconds runs 2.1x the 1080p figure. The board prices the clip. The second trap is the one every model here shares: supplying a reference video moves you onto a formula billed on input + output seconds rather than output alone.

4 consumer apps sell Seedance 2.0

These are not API routes. Most of these sell a month of the whole app, and where a figure is shown it is that subscription and not the price of one Seedance 2.0 generation. We record one thing per app: the cheapest plan that unlocks this model, at its monthly-billing rate, and the date we checked. What a generation costs inside a plan is not published anywhere, and dividing a plan by its allowance would invent it.

ByteDance's own consumer apps do carry this version. Dreamina's home page has a Seedance 2.0 generator block and describes it as available, and Dreamina lists 2.0 alongside 2.5 and Mini in its model navigation. What a generation costs in credits sits behind a login, so this page records the route and no figure. Jimeng needs a mainland China account before it shows anything at all. How each plan price was read

Syntx
Syntx sells a single tier rather than a ladder, so this is both the entry price and the only price. The plan list is visible only when signed in, so the figure is what the plans page showed on the date beside it. The figure is the monthly-billing price, not the lower per-month rate an annual plan advertises, so it is comparable with the other apps here. No per-generation cost is published and we do not derive one: a plan divided by an allowance is an invented price.
Higgsfield
Starter is the one tier that stops short, and this is the model it stops at: everything else on the platform needs Plus. The figure is the monthly-billing price, not the lower per-month rate an annual plan advertises, so it is comparable with the other apps here. No per-generation cost is published and we do not derive one: a plan divided by an allowance is an invented price.
Magnific
Magnific, formerly Freepik, sells one paid tier and puts every model it carries inside it. Seedance 2.5 is the exception on this platform: it is not in the model list at all. The figure is the monthly-billing price, not the lower per-month rate an annual plan advertises, so it is comparable with the other apps here. No per-generation cost is published and we do not derive one: a plan divided by an allowance is an invented price.
Dreamina
Dreamina's home page carries a Seedance 2.0 generator block and describes it as available, so the app names 2.0 as well as 2.5. What it costs in credits sits behind a login, and the plan pages do not price this model on their own, so there is no figure to quote. An earlier note here said the public pages named 2.5 only, which the home page contradicts.
Jimeng
Model selection and daily credit costs are only visible behind a mainland China account, so no figure can be quoted.

If this is not the right model

Priced at the same unit

Seedance 2.5 Seedance 2.0 Mini

These sell 10s / 720p / t2v / no audio too, so their figures on the index can be read against this one. Models that do not are shown with their own unit instead.

When to reach for another model

When 720p is enough, Seedance 2.0 Mini is the same inputs and the same native audio with the resolution ceiling lowered. When the shot needs to run past fifteen seconds, that is Seedance 2.5, which reaches thirty and also outputs 1080p; 4K is the one thing this version has that neither of the others does.
